Preparing for E3

E3 Badge has arrived
It’s T-minus 4 days to E3…and I’m packing as we speak. I’m still a bit shocked to be going.
Expect a lot of info coming out of the event while I’m there. I’ll try to get around to as much stuff as possible, but I anticipate this event to be raucous, insane, and a continuous maze of long lines to the most sought after games from 12 noon on Tuesday until the closing bell on Thursday at 5pm. My goal is to try and put as much video and written editorial content on the site after each day at the con. This is going to be a little daunting as a) I’m not really press and b) it’s just me, my laptop, and my friend who’s going as well (and also isn’t really press). But I will do my best to share with you (my friends and readers) some of the insider elements of the expo (and the games within).
Some of the games I’m most excited to see (or hoping to see)
- Heavy Rain
- Assassin’s Creed 2
- Mass Effect 2
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- Prototype (I just want to play it already
)
- Trico (I’m not expecting to see too much of this)
- PSP Go! (not that I’m ready to buy a new PSP just yet)
- Final Fantasy XIII (yeah…I’ll keep dreaming)
- White Knight Chronicles (Because I keep hearing things about this one)
- Anything that catches me off guard or I didn’t expect to see.
The one bummer is that I don’t get access to the press conferences. I’ll be watching those via Gamespot or G4TV like the rest of the country (and world). Regardless, this should be a great experience. But, with all of the news that has been leaked leading up to the expo I just hope that the big three (and their 3rd party partners) have something to surprise us with during the convention. Only time will tell (thankfully we don’t have to wait long).
If you guys have anything you’d like me to take a look at while I’m at the convention…leave me a comment.
