Pixel Junk Shooter – Ice, Lava. Lava, Ice.
Check out the new ‘Ice World’ from PixelJunk Shooter. Having played only the first stage at E3, I can say that I’m really impressed with some of the elemental interactions going on here. You’ll get to see some different ways you can use the environment to melt and freeze paths that were originally closed, new ways you’ll have to deal with heat management on your ship, and new weapons that you can use to rescue all of the ‘survivors’ on a given level. Alright, enough of my yapping. Watch the video and enjoy the beauty of “Shooter” (man, that name really doesn’t do the game justice, does it?)
PixelJunk Shooter is being developed by Q-Games exclusively for the PS3. PJS will release sometime in Q4 2009.
