Brütal Soapbox Racer
No, it’s not a spinoff of Double Fine’s Brütal Legend. It’s a project being spearheaded by a bunch of very talented welders, carpenters, and designers who decided to enter a soap box racing contest using the metal tour bus from Brutal Legend as their inspiration. So far, they’ve built the frame and are currently working on the demonic inspired chassis. The whole thing is being documented on their own blog as well as a d-toid blog. Personally, I don’t see how these guys can lose. I mean, you can’t stop ROCK!
The group will continue to document, via pictures and video, the construction of their vehicle of rock until it’s completion. Best of all, while a soap box race is determined primarily by gravity, they designed the bus with a motor in mind. Now that is totally metal!
