CryEngine3 Beauty Trailer – is it ever!
When Crytek released Crysis back in 2007, everyone was mightily impressed by what the CryEngine could do, when it wasn’t melting peoples cpus. Now, Crytek has released it’s third iteration of that engine and has gone to great lengths to make it more powerful, easier to use, and compatible with current consoles and future proofed for PC. If there’s one thing that really excites me, it’s the fact that the sandbox interface has been refined so much that even I, a person with no level designing skills to speak of, feel inclined to jump in and try it out. Well that and playing Crysis 2 sporting this beautiful engine. Commence operation “Melt All PCs: round 2!”
