Discussion Topic: GameCrashers Ep.34 – Bundles and “one-console” future
Here are the two topics we’ll be hitting on episode 34 of GameCrashers.
First Topic: Alright. So for those who don’t know, Bioshock 2 is out this week and they have a pretty serious Limited Edition bundle coming out for all three versions of the game. If you haven’t checked it out, here it is. Do limited edition bundles do anything for you? Do you love them, hate them, or do you not really care either way? Are bundles worth the extra cash? What’s the best/worst bundle out there?
Second topic: The “One-Console Future” theory is one that several people like Dennis Dyack and David Jaffe have talked about ad nauseum over the past few years. With the announcement of Onlive and more games going multiplatform than ever before, it seems possible that the day of one console could be coming much sooner than we ever expected. Do you believe this or not? Are you for or against the one console theory? If so, what do you think will prevent it/cause it to happen?
