NEXT: Bit.Trip “Reviewer” – Gaijin Games’ Alex Neuse to CRASH our lil’ podcast

Alright, we finally get to have a real industry person on the podcast!  And no, I swear we didn’t bribe him.  Our special guest for episode 47 of GameCrashers Radio is a man who has both an awesomely named video game studio as well as a pretty brilliantly named video game review website.  He is none other than Alex Neuse of Gaijin Games (the Bit.Trip guys) and BeatenVideoGames.net: a site all about playing games all the way through before reviewing them.

Which brings us to our discussion topic for Ep. 47: Why is there such a dichotomy between the language used in written reviews and the language used in video or podcast reviews?  And, more to the point, do you need to play a game all the way through to review it? Alex has agreed to join us on the show in an attempt to help us answer this age old question ONCE AND FOR ALL!

But hey, he’s also got a game to promote.  As you may know, Gaijin Games recently released the latest entry in the Bit.Trip series, Bit.Trip Runner, on WiiWare.  Boris has played it.  So we thought we’d ask Alex a few questions about the game, the inspiration behind the project, and where Commander Video will be going from here.

If you have any thoughts on this topic or questions you’d like to us to feed to Mr. Neuse while he’s on the show, send us an email at “theblog@gamecrashers.net” and put “EP.47 – Game Reviews” in the subject line.  Or you can leave a comment here or on our forums at VGEVO.COM!

Whatever you do, get us your comments before 5pm this Sunday, June 6th.  That is the official record day!

If you want to know more about Bit.Trip Runner, Gaijin Games’ latest entry in the Bit.Trip series, check out the video below or head to their website.  Or you could, you know, listen to Ep.47.  But, you know that’s…just…like a suggestion, man.
