Halo Reach: Bungie looks to blow your mind again with ‘Forge World’
It’s the biggest single map Bungie’s ever made in a Halo game. It’s so big, in fact, that it’s actually multiple maps intertwined into one big indoor/outdoor environment that can be modified to do whatever you want it to. Think Halo 3′s Forge mode on the best steroids money can buy. But the coolest feature: the ability to slide every forge piece, from the smallest platform to the largest building, through one another in order to create brand new map segments and buildings. You can even stick those pieces through the landscape in order to create awesome set pieces or floating platforms for your flying and jetpack-toting buddies to tool around on. The possibilities, as far as maps and game modes are, literally, endless. And the Bungie guys will be the first to admit that they’re as psyched, if not more so, as we are to see what the community will create in ‘Forge World’.
Anyway I’ve talked long enough. Check out the video and see for yourself.
