PAX Artist Interviews – Epic Mickey

Disney and I go way back. I remember Mickey growing up, my first time at Disney World and all the words to The Princess and the Frog (don’t judge me). It’s nice to see the old mischievous Mickey coming back to life in Warren Spector’s latest masterwork, Epic Mickey. I was delighted when I got the chance to talk with some of the artists that are bringing Epic Mickey to life.

The game is looking very unique so far, and after the round table discussion with Warren, I’m certain there are workings under the hood of this game that cannot be demonstrated properly at a convention.  It’s for this reason that I didn’t mention much about the game during my daily recaps.  This is one I’ll have to get my hands on to see how the mood and design bring new life into Mickey’s return to consoles.

There’s no official word on the release of the game yet, but a little birdie suggested to get my holiday wish list in order.  Take that for what it’s worth.
