I’ve always enjoyed arena style combat. It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s a good time. Back in the golden days of FPS games, Unreal Tournament was about the best you could ever want. Now it feels like there are FPS game everywhere trying to out match each other.

What if you just want that old classic arena style combat back? Then you should turn to Nexuiz, the new ultra fast, twitch response arena battle game from IllFonic. This is the first title on the XBLA and PSN to use the CryEngine 3 and it is looking all the more incredible for it. On the scene was Kedhrin Gonzalez, the Creative Director, to tell me about what to expect from Nexuiz.

A fifteen dollar price point and old school classic arena combat along with some of the best visual tech this generation has to offer? Where the hell do I sign? I will be playing this the moment it releases and I’d better see you all there.

Look for it Early 2011. You and I, we need to get a match going.
