Kung Fu Live Reactions and Video
During my time at PAX I got the chance to play a little title called Kung Fu Live. It’s probably the most fun I had at the convention. Fortunately Torgo was on the scene to make sure that my antics were captured for all to see. Enjoy:
All they were showing at PAX was a single stage, but according to their own promotional material, aside from placing you into the fight scenes, there are comic book pages that the player will be placed into throughout the course of the story.
What’s amazing about playing this game is that everything works the way you’d want it to. The strikes I was performing all landed how I expected them to and the special attacks, once I knew the poses, where easy to perform. What’s even more amazing is that this game does motion gaming with the Playstation Eye infinitely better than anything I’ve seen on the Kinect.
If you have the Playstation Eye, this is a must have. If you don’t, it’s a strong reason to consider buying one. I have one coming on friday along with the Move controllers, so I’ll be ready for when this game comes out. I was amazed by how much of a workout I got playing this. The developer was saying that their QA guy has lost about 40 pounds testing this game. I’d believe it. Maybe even I’ll be physically fit after I play this game.
