FMV Cloverfield-style – any gameplay = Prey 2 Teaser
Bethesda Softworks and Human Head Studios are going back to the world of Prey. Unfortunately their recent trailer is suffering from a serious case of the ‘Cloverfields’ (read: vague, crazy, and seriously handheld). A couple of things that stand out from watching this trailer include the fact that there’s not a frame of game footage in it. In fact the whole trailer is live action. And then there’s the fact that not much is explained about what this game will be about, where it will take place, or how it’s going to change things up from the first game. It is a teaser in ever sense of the word. That being said, it certainly is a bad ass trailer. I just wonder if it’s a bad ass trailer that helps hype Prey 2…or just makes realize all of the things Prey wasn’t.
Maybe more will be revealed at E3. Until then, please be sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full and upright positions for being invaded (and/or abducted).
