August 28th is Guild Wars 2 Day

My fellow gamers, let the rejoicing being. Guild Wars 2, long chided for teasing all of us with its “when its ready” approach to game design, has finally be blessed with a real world release date. And you won’t have to wait until next year to play it. That’s right, the game will launch on August 28th 2012.

Pre-ordering will get you all of the stuff listed in the picture above. And if you haven’t seen the collectors edition for Guild Wars 2…well I’ll just say this: it is chocked full of goodies, not to mention a pretty cool statue.
