GameCrashers Radio Ep.36 – Valve’s a Mac!

Yes, we know about what happened at Infinity Ward. Of course we haven’t overlooked Brickfest2010. But, seriously, Steam games on the Mac? Portal 2!? A new ending to Portal 1?!?! These things cannot be ignored.

GameCrashers Radio Ep.35 – Select Your Joystick!!

Alright, we won’t lie. Last week really sucked. Between a stomach virus, 25 inches of snow, and lots of “real job” work, the podcast simply had no chance. But we’re back, and ready to tackle ep.35 with all we’ve got. GRAB YOUR JOYSTICKS!

Delayed Reactions – Dead Space: Extraction

Delayed Reactions – Dead Space: Extraction

While trying to make sense of my true reactions to Dead Space Extraction, I find myself at a bit of a loss. Dead Space Extraction is a very immersive game. GameCrashers Radio Ep.34 – Alan Wake hates on the PC

GameCrashers Radio Ep.33 – Sonic & Stretch: The Movie

GameCrashers Radio Ep.33 – Sonic & Stretch: The Movie

Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a new game. Stretch Armstrong is getting a movie. So why not team them up in some kind of ridiculous buddy/cop/dramedy where they’re just getting too old for this sh*t? This is why we don’t make movies.

GameCrashers Radio Ep.32 – Unreal Encounters

GameCrashers Radio Ep.32 – Unreal Encounters

Recorded live because we don’t really plan far enough ahead, we spend a full episode talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly regarding Epic’s…well…epic ‘Unreal’ engine. Messy? Always is!

Discussion Topic: The ever evolving ‘Unreal’ engine

Discussion Topic: The ever evolving ‘Unreal’ engine

For episode 32 of GameCrashers, we’ve decided to talk about one of the mainstays of gaming in the current era: the Unreal Engine. It’s been used in, literally, hundreds of games. And through its 3-plus iterations and heavy modifications it’s always looked better and better as more companies used it. However, it’s not the only kid on the block. So, what are your thoughts on Unreal and it’s place in video game history?
