As I'm sure you've all heard by now, Activision and Bungie are going to be doing some serious hand-holding over the next ten years. The two announced a deal that will result in all future games developed by Bungie -- under their new IP -- to be published exclusively by Activision across 'multiple platforms' for the next decade. That's no small feat, considering that Microsoft has done everything in its power to keep every Bungie game up through 'Reach' exclusive to the 360. While hordes of gamers, and even journalists, from every corner of the interwebs have already begun to 'cry out in terror' over the deal, I can't help but think 'is news really worth all the hoopla? Or are we all getting ahead of ourselves?'

<itunes:summary>Yes, we know about what happened at Infinity Ward.nbsp; Of course we haven't overlooked Brickfest2010.nbsp; But, seriously, Steam games on the Mac?nbsp; Portal 2!?nbsp; A new ending to Portal !?!?!nbsp; These things cannot be ignored.
The Rundown:
- We read gamers responses to Jason's "Alan Wake" article
- The Stupid News:
- Activision ousts Infinity Ward heads Zampella and West
- Reaction to ApocalyPS3.
- Valve tweaks end of Portal 1, announces Portal 2 and Mac Support
- Emails and Comments
- Game of the week:
- Heavy Rain, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Mega Man 9, Dante's Inferno, Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, Bayonetta

Also, Final Fantasy XIII is out this week.nbsp; As such, the musical breaks for this episode include some of our favorite battle themes from the entirety of the series.

Next week: the "Slashrospective!" - a look back at the God of War series, the brawlers, beat'em'ups, hack'n'slashes, and more that created the genre, as well as GoW's place in it.

Bon Appetite!

<itunes:summary>Turkey day is here! Can you friggin believe it? The year is almost over and the number of games coming out at the same time is too overwhelming for words. But we here at GameCrashers were born for this kind of pressure. Best of all, the 'Voltron' five, Rob, Jason, Dave, Brian, and Sean, are all in attendance and on one Skype call. Yes, we're pretty sure it's the making of an "end of the world" scenario.

The Rundown:
- Emails, blog posts, and topic responses
- We reintroduce ourselves to the new listeners
- Game(s) of the Week: Myst (PSP), Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta (Preview), Dragon Age: Origins (360), New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Crysis (PC)
- QotW: We discuss a controversial new study on video games
- The Stupid Video Game News

Plus there's some other crazy stuff we're sure is taboo in at least 40 states.</itunes:summary>
