IGN previews new Borderlands DLC – The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned

So you’ve played non-stop since the game launched. You’ve partied with everyone on your friends list, and beyond. You’ve killed 40,000 skags, 15,000 brutes, and every single boss. You’ve even located the mythical vault and cleaned up the mess afterward. So what’s next on the agenda? ZOMBIES! Yup. The undead are at it again and they’re going to give all of us a run for our money…and hopefully drop some killer loot for us along the way. While $10 dollars isn’t an unreasonable amount of money for 6 hours of content, it is annoying to hear that, once again, the PC crowd is going to have to wait a bit longer to see what the console boys and girls get first dibs at. And if you’re wondering when Gearbox is planning on patching the PC version, you’re not the only one out there. Even though a patch was recently released for the Xbox360 and PS3, Gearbox has not yet stated when players will be getting that. More content is never a bad thing, but when players can’t connect to each other in a game that was created with co-op in mind, that doesn’t make a whole heck of a lot of sense. Here’s hoping the PC version gets a patch soon.
