Blizzard is hoping that you really like this mount, enough to shell out $25 bucks for the privilege of flying around Azeroth on it. Up to now, over 140,000 people have shelled out a combined $3.5m to do just that. Am I missing something here?

So you’ve played non-stop since the game launched. You’ve partied with everyone on your friends list, and beyond. You’ve killed 40,000 skags, 15,000 brutes, and every single boss. You’ve even located the mythical vault and cleaned up the mess afterward. So what’s next on the agenda? ZOMBIES! Yup. The undead are at it again and they’re going to give all of us a run for our money…and hopefully drop some killer loot for us along the way. While $10 dollars isn’t an unreasonable amount of money for 6 hours of content, it is annoying to hear that, once again, the PC crowd is going to have to wait a bit longer to see what the console boys and girls get first dibs at. And if you’re wondering when Gearbox is planning on patching the PC version, you’re not the only one out there. Even though a patch was recently released for the Xbox360 and PS3, Gearbox has not yet stated when players will be getting that. More content is never a bad thing, but when players can’t connect to each other in a game that was created with co-op in mind, that doesn’t make a whole heck of a lot of sense. Here’s hoping the PC version gets a patch soon. Red Faction Guerrilla – Demons of the Badlands DLC

So, you went to Mars, watched your brother die before your eyes, got recruited by the Red Faction, blew up some buildings, curb-stomped some marauders, and liberated the planet from those EDF jerks. Still itching for some demolition action? Well has THQ got the answer for you, brother. Three years before Alex decided to drop in and raise some hell, the EDF had another problem on their hands: the Marauders. In ‘Demons’, you take the role of Samaya, your weapons specialist in the main game, and chart her back story as both Marauder and total pain the ass for the EDF. As events unfold, you’ll find out what caused her to ditch her family and join up with the Red Faction. To do that, you’re going to need some serious hardware. Well, ‘Demons’ doesn’t disappoint in that department. In addition to a slew of new missions, new locations to discover, and new characters to interact with, the game sports a revised set of weapons and a seriously bad ass collection of new vehicles. In short, you should have little trouble firmly inserting your foot straight into the EDF’s groin. If you haven’t finished the main game, and by you I mean me (yeah, I have too many games to finish), you might want to book it. ‘Red Faction: Demons of the Badlands’ arrives on both XBL and PSN on August 13th and will cost $9 bucks. If that’s not a steal, I don’t know what is.
