		<description><![CDATA[This one just made me chuckle.  I&#8217;ve never really been a fan of the original Rogue, but I certainly can appreciate the execution of something like this.  I mean, who would (honestly) expect Doom and Rogue to create anything but a total bastard of a video game step-child?  Clearly, there&#8217;s a reason why I don&#8217;t develop games.  Below is a video for a free to download indie game called DoomRL: a Doom Rogue-Like that actually looks like it might be fun to play. The use of Doom&#8217;s original sound effect library is a welcome and unexpected addition, especially when you consider that the in-game &#8220;graphics&#8221; amounts to nothing more ampersands, exclamation marks, and percentage signs. You can check out this game and the Diablo and Aliens RL at DoomRL.
